Jeremiah 5

The Lord tells Jeremiah to search the streets of Jerusalem for even one person who deals justly and speaks truth, but finds that the people, both poor and rich, have broken his laws and turned to false gods. He declares that a distant, powerful nation will come to devour the land's harvest and cities because the people have refused correction and have wronged the orphan and the widow.
