The Priests' Chambers
Ezekiel 42
The measuring continues with the priests' chambers in the inner court, set apart for eating the most holy offerings and for changing out of the garments worn in ministry, and concludes with the overall measurement of the temple precinct, a square of five hundred cubits on each side.

ThomsonNow there were doors of these chambers opening into an entry facing the east. So there was a passage through them from the outer court along this entry to the lighted walk at the head of this passage.

Thomsonnone but the priests are to go in there. That they who offer up the offerings may be continually holy, and that none may touch the garments in which they minister because they are holy, the priests must not go out from the sanctuary into the outer court. And when they are to mix with the people, they must put on other garments.
