The Curtains of the Tabernacle

Exodus 26

The Lord describes how the tabernacle itself is to be made, its linen curtains embroidered with cherubim, its coverings of skins, its wooden frame set in silver sockets, and the veil that separates the holy place from the holy of holies where the ark will rest.

BrentonA cubit on this side, and a cubit on that side of that which remains of the skins, of the length of the skins of the tabernacle: it shall be folding over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and that side, that it may cover it.

ThomsonAnd thou shalt overlay the pilasters with gold. And thou shalt make rings of gold into which thou shalt put the bars; and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold.

BrentonAnd thou shalt gild the posts with gold; and thou shalt make golden rings, into which thou shalt introduce the bars, and thou shalt gild the bars with gold.
