The Blood of the Covenant

Exodus 24

Moses reads the book of the covenant to the people, who agree to obey, and seals the covenant by sprinkling sacrificial blood on them. He then goes up Mount Sinai with Aaron, Nadab, Abiud, and seventy elders, who see a vision of the God of Israel, and Moses continues alone into the cloud on the mountain for forty days and nights to receive the tables of stone.
