The Vision of Four Beasts
Daniel 7
Daniel sees four great beasts rise from the sea representing four kingdoms, ending in a fearsome fourth beast with ten horns and a little horn that speaks great things. He then beholds the Ancient of days seated in judgment and one like the Son of man coming with the clouds of heaven to receive an everlasting dominion, and is told that the saints of the Most High will possess the kingdom forever.

ThomsonAnd I went to one of them in waiting and made diligent inquiry to learn of him concerning all these things, and he gave me exact information and explained to me the meaning of these things.

ThomsonThen I inquired particularly concerning the fourth beast, because it was different from every beast, exceedingly dreadful. Its teeth were of iron and its claws of brass. It devoured and broke in pieces, and the residue it trampled with its feet.
