Daniel Brought to Babylon

Daniel 1

Nebuchadnezzar besieges Jerusalem, carries off vessels from the temple, and has young men of Judah, including Daniel, Ananias, Azarias, and Misael, brought to Babylon to be trained for his service. Daniel and his three companions ask to eat vegetables and drink water instead of the king's food, and after their testing they appear healthier than the rest and are found ten times wiser than all the wise men of Babylon.
