Visions and the Priest's Rebuke
Amos 7
Amos describes three visions from the Lord, locusts and fire, from which he relents at Amos's plea, and a wall built with an adamant, which fixes Israel's judgment as certain, and then recounts how the priest Amasias of Bethel ordered him to stop prophesying and leave, prompting Amos to declare his call from tending sheep and to pronounce judgment on Amasias and his household.
