The Death of Elisha
2 Kings 13
Jehoahaz reigns over Israel and does evil, and the Lord allows Syria to oppress the nation until Jehoahaz's prayer brings partial deliverance; his son Joash succeeds him. Elisha, on his deathbed, gives Joash a sign of victory over Syria, and after Elisha dies, a dead man is restored to life simply by touching his bones.
