Building of the Temple

1 Kings 6

In the fourth year of his reign Solomon begins building the house of the Lord according to precise measurements, lining its interior with cedar and gold and forming two great cherubs for the inner sanctuary, and the temple is completed without the sound of hammer or iron tool at the building site.
