Solomon's Prayer for Wisdom
1 Kings 3
The Lord appears to Solomon in a dream at Gabaon and grants him an understanding and wise heart along with wealth and glory because he asked for wisdom rather than long life or riches, and Solomon then displays this wisdom by discerning the true mother of a living child claimed by two women.
