David's Final Charge
1 Kings 2
David gives Solomon his dying charge to walk in the Lord's ways and to deal with Joab and Semei, and after David's death Solomon secures his throne by putting to death Adonias, Joab, and Semei, removing Abiathar from the priesthood, and receiving great wisdom and wealth from the Lord.
