Joshua the High Priest
Zechariah 3
The Lord shows Zacharias Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord in filthy garments while the Devil stands ready to accuse him, and the Lord rebukes the Devil and has Joshua's filthy garments removed and replaced with clean vestments and a pure mitre. Joshua is charged to walk in the Lord's ways, and the Lord speaks of bringing forth his servant called the Branch and of a stone with seven eyes set before him.
