Evening Prayer of Trust
Psalms 4
David calls on God who has answered him before, urges men who love falsehood to instead offer righteous sacrifice and trust in the Lord, and closes rejoicing in the gladness and secure sleep the Lord gives him.

ThomsonWHEN I made my supplication, my righteous God heard me: Thou hast enlarged me in distress: be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
BrentonWhen I called upon him, the God of my righteousness heard me: thou hast made room for me in tribulation; pity me, and hearken to my prayer.

ThomsonKnow that the Lord hath made His holy one wonderful. The Lord will hearken to me when I cry to Him.
BrentonBut know ye that the Lord has done wondrous things for his holy one: the Lord will hear me when I cry to him.
