David and Goliath

Psalms 151

In this supernumerary psalm David recounts being the youngest of his brothers and a shepherd of his father's sheep, tells how the Lord sent his angel and anointed him, and describes going out to meet the Philistine who cursed him by his idols and being taken his own sword to behead him, removing reproach from Israel.
