The Mountain of the Lord

Micah 4

In the last days the mountain of the Lord will be established above all others, and many nations will come to it to learn the Lord's ways, ending war and bringing lasting peace. Zion, though facing exile to Babylon, is promised deliverance and is called to thresh the nations gathered against her, for the Lord will one day reign from Sion.

ThomsonBe in pangs, but take courage and draw near to delivery, O daughter of Sion. For thou art now to go from a city and to make thy abode in a field, and go even to Babylon. Thence He will deliver thee; yes, thence the Lord thy God will redeem thee out of the hands of thine enemies.

BrentonBe in pain, and strengthen thyself, and draw near, O daughter of Sion, as a woman in travail: for now thou shalt go forth out of the city, and shalt lodge in the plain, and shalt reach even to Babylon: thence shall the Lord thy God deliver thee, and thence shall he redeem thee out of the hand of thine enemies.
