Tola, Jair, and Renewed Oppression
Judges 10
After Abimelech, the minor judges Tola and Jair each lead Israel for many years, but Israel again turns to serve foreign gods and is given over to the Philistines and Ammonites. When the people cry out and put away their strange gods, the Lord relents, and Israel gathers at Gilead seeking a leader to fight Ammon.
