A Wife for Isaac

Genesis 24

Abraam, now old, sends his trusted servant back to his own country to find a wife for his son Isaac rather than let him marry among the Chananites. At a well near the city of Nachor the servant prays for a sign and meets Rebecca, who waters his camels as he had asked, and after speaking with her family he brings her back to Isaac, who takes her as his wife and is comforted after his mother's death.

Brentonand said, Blessed be the Lord the God of my master Abraam, who has not suffered his righteousness to fail, nor his truth from my master, and the Lord has brought me prosperously to the house of the brother of my lord.
