Frogs, Lice, and Flies
Exodus 8
The Lord sends frogs over the land of Egypt, and after Pharao pleads for relief and promises to let Israel go, the frogs are removed, yet Pharao hardens his heart again. Further plagues of lice and swarms of flies follow, sparing the land of Gesem where Israel dwells, and each time Pharao relents briefly and then refuses to release the people.
