The Burning Bush
Exodus 3
While shepherding in the wilderness, Moses sees a bush burning without being consumed, and the Lord speaks to him from it, revealing his name and calling him to bring Israel out of Egypt. The Lord promises to deliver the people from bondage and bring them into a good land, and instructs Moses what to say to Pharao and to the elders of Israel.
