Water from the Rock and War with Amalec

Exodus 17

At Raphidin the people again complain for lack of water, and Moses strikes a rock at the Lord's command to bring forth water for them to drink. Israel then fights and defeats Amalec while Moses holds up his hands on a hilltop, supported by Aaron and Or, and the Lord declares perpetual war against Amalec.
