Deuteronomy 7
Moses commands Israel to utterly destroy the nations of Canaan along with their altars and images, forbidding covenants or marriages with them, and explains that the Lord chose Israel not for their numbers but out of love and the oath sworn to their fathers. He promises blessing, fruitfulness, and health if they keep the commandments.
