The Deliverance from Sennacherim

2 Chronicles 32

When Sennacherim king of Assyria invades and threatens Jerusalem with taunting messages against the Lord, Ezekias and the prophet Esaias pray, and the Lord sends an angel who destroys the Assyrian army; afterward Ezekias recovers from a mortal illness but is later tested through envoys sent from Babylon.

ThomsonNOW after these acts and this faithfulness Sennacherim, king of the Assyrians, came. He came against Juda and encamped against the walled cities and ordered them to be taken first.
