David Delivers Keila
1 Samuel 23
David inquires of the Lord and rescues the city of Keila from Philistine raiders, but when Saul marches to besiege him there he inquires again and learns the townsmen would betray him, so he escapes into the wilderness. Jonathan visits David to strengthen him in the Lord, and though the Ziphites betray David's hiding place to Saul, a sudden Philistine invasion forces Saul to break off his pursuit.
